AQ Index Today provides national and local air quality forecasts for more than 30,000 cities across the United States. We provide real-time forecast data for several air pollutants including Ozone, PM2.5, PM10, CO, NO2 and SO2. Our forecasts are built using data provided by the EPA and more than 120 local, state, tribal, provincial, and federal government agencies.
The purpose of the AQI is to inform people about their air quality so they can take steps to protect their health. This is especially important whenever the AQI exceeds 100.
