6/18 - A frontal boundary will make its way through the region, bringing rain showers and isolated thunderstorms, mostly cloudy skies, and warmer temperatures. A gusty southerly/southwesterly flow is expected as well, helping to drop air quality to the good category statewide. 6/19 - A weak cold front passes through the region on Friday, leading to seasonal temperatures and breezy westerly winds. Some early clouds and rain showers, mainly in the southern half of the state, will give way to sunshine in the afternoon. Air quality is forecast to remain in the good category statewide as a result. 6/20 - High pressure starts to build in from the southwest, creating pleasant temperatures and abundant sunshine. Winds predominantly out of the northwest are expected to help keep air quality in the good range throughout New Jersey. 6/21 - Continued high pressure to the southwest of the state will allow for partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid-80s for most of the state, with coastal portions nearing 90 degrees. Northwesterly winds inland shift and converge to southerly winds along the coast. Ozone is forecast to reach moderate levels statewide, with mid-moderate levels expected in coastal areas, and fine particulates are predicted to reach the good/moderate threshold statewide. 6/22 - A low-pressure system passes through the state, producing variable winds, rain, and thunderstorms throughout the day. These conditions are forecast to drop air quality to the good category in the Garden State.
