Daily Air Quality Forecast for Country Homes, Washington

Forecast Discussion – A ridge of high pressure continues to build, and it should keep most of the region in a dry, warming trend this week. Monday and Tuesday should be mostly sunny, and air quality should be in the AQI-Moderate category much of the time. Monday afternoon the winds are expected to shift from northerly (from the north) to westerly and may transport wildfire smoke (PM2.5) from the central WA wildfires into the airshed. Monday afternoon/evening and Tuesday morning we may see patchy smoke. Tuesday southerly winds should help clear any smoke that built up overnight. /MC (Issued 8/17/26 8:45 AM)
