Current Conditions at 4 p.m. EDT this Monday afternoon: Following a cold front moving through in the morning hours, occasional showers and storms can be expected. These will be sporadic, with mostly cloudy skies overhead in the downtime of no rainfall. Dewpoints begin to drop and temperatures can be seen in the low 80s. PM2.5 will stay within the high end of the good range. Here are the forecast details: *** Tuesday’s forecast: After some early morning fog, partly sunny skies remain as high pressure settles to the west, bringing in drier dewpoints. Temperatures just reaching the 80 degree mark will again bring a pleasant feel throughout the day. PM2.5, while higher, will stay just within the good range. *** Extended forecast: Times of clouds and sun Wednesday with afternoon showers and storms developing. Dewpoints begin to climb again as temperatures linger around the low 80s, with light southwesterly winds helping to provide some relief. Thursday sees similar conditions, although Friday will have a break in the rain with mostly sunny skies. This will not last long, however as rainfall will return again come the weekend. PM2.5 will elevate to the moderate Wednesday, and oscillate between high good and low moderate for the remainder of the week. --- Schmalenberger
