Afternoon temperatures will reach close to 80. *** Sunday’s forecast: Another mostly sunny and warm day is in store Sunday with surface flow turning into the southwest. High temperatures could again hit the 80-degree mark. PM2.5 will again reach moderate levels, with the highest values coming during the morning. Showers and a thunderstorm are possible Sunday night as a cold front passes through. *** Monday’s forecast: Clouds to start, then breezy and cooler Monday with partly sunny skies. Air quality should improve to the good range later in the day with high temperatures in the lower 70s. *** Extended forecast: A cool northwesterly flow of dry air will continue through the middle of the week with temperatures slightly below normal.
