The cold front will pass through Saturday night with a lingering shower. *** Sunday’s forecast: Turning out partly sunny and breezy but not as warm Sunday as highs only reach the lower 60s. A west to southwest wind provides enough mixing in the boundary layer to maintain good air quality. *** Monday’s forecast: Moderate air quality returns Monday with a morning inversion and light winds. PM2.5 levels lower by afternoon with increasing southwest flow. A warm afternoon as well with highs close to 70. *** Extended forecast: Times of clouds and sunshine Tuesday with a shower possible. The afternoon will remain mild with moderate levels of PM2.5 on average, highest during the morning. The next cold front arrives Wednesday to bring another round of rain and a thunderstorm, then turning cooler Thursday and Friday with temperatures retreating closer to normal mid-March levels.
