2/13 - High pressure building in from the west will bring abundant sunshine and continued cool temperatures. Lighter westerly winds are expected to result in a slight rise of PM2.5 levels to the good/moderate threshold along the I-95 corridor. Air quality is anticipated to remain good throughout the rest of the state. 2/14 - Partly cloudy skies, mild temperatures, and light westerly winds are forecast as high pressure persists over the northeastern seaboard. Fine particulates are expected to rise to moderate levels statewide, while ozone levels are expected to remain good. 2/15 - Overcast skies and a calm onshore flow are anticipated during the day before a low-pressure system passes through the southern part of the state in the evening. A chance for a mix of snow and rain is possible, mainly in the southern regions of the state. Calm winds will help to keep fine particulate concentrations in the moderate category in New Jersey. 2/16 - Some possible mixed precipitation and rain in the morning will transition to partly cloudy skies as the day progresses. Northeasterly winds, which shift to northerly throughout the day, are expected to keep fine particle levels moderate in the Garden State. 2/17 - Warm temperatures, light westerly winds, and a mix of clouds and sunshine are expected. Ozone concentrations are forecast to remain good statewide, while PM2.5 concentrations are forecast to continue to remain moderate throughout the state.
