There is high surface pressure to the west, which will move over the state over the next couple of days. 850 mb temperatures will be near -10 C today and tomorrow. Surface temperatures tomorrow will be slightly warmer, reaching near 30 degrees. Skies will still be partly cloudy and dewpoints will be near 20 degrees. Winds will be primarily from the southwest, reaching speeds near 10 kts. On Wednesday temperatures will reach the upper 30's at the warmest. Skies will be overcast, dewpoints will be in the 20's, and 850 mb temperatures will increase above -5 C. Winds will still be from the southwest as wind speeds increase to near 20 kts. There will be a chance of snow Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Thursday will bring cooler temperatures, with highs in the mid 20's and dewpoints falling to near 10 degrees. 850 mb temperatures will fall as well, reaching below -15 C. Temperatures will start to climb again on Friday while dewpoints stay near 10 degrees and wind speeds decrease to near 10 kts.
