Central Regions: PM2.5 was a mixture of Good/Moderate for Yesterday, while Ozone was Good. For today expect dry and seasonal weather with high temperatures in the lower to mid-80's. Dew points will be falling into the upper 60's. Skies will be partly sunny due to a dry cold front dropping south over the state today. Winds will be breezy out of the north at 10 mph gusting to around 20 mph. Mixing heights today will be around 4000 ft, and tomorrow around 5500 ft. Tomorrow skies should be sunny and temperatures just a tad cooler after the reinforcing shot of cool air the area received today. Highs will still be in the lower to mid-80's but dew points will be lower and more comfortable around 60 degrees. Winds will be northerly at 5 to 10 mph. As for Ozone, both the Canadian and NOAA 06Z BC Model have Good in for today/tomorrow, which also continues the trend of persistence. So will be going with Good both of these days. Strong to moderate northerly winds are not favorable for Ozone growth either. For PM2.5 Terre Haute is showing Moderate for today, and for Indianapolis its showing Good. Even though I have my doubts about PM2.5 getting to Moderate today, it is possible before the secondary cold front arrives, it's just a timing issue. Noticed that southern guidance is going with Moderate for today, so to be conservative will go with Moderate for both sites for today, then Good for tomorrow.
