Fine Particulate: As of Friday morning, at 12z a warm front has moved through Indiana bringing significantly above average temperatures to the area for Friday. Friday will be sunny with southerly winds 5-15 MPH and gusts up to 25 MPH. Temperatures will be in the mid-to upper 70's with some areas reaching the low 80’s and clouds increasing with rain chances later Friday. There is the chance for some strong to severe storms later Friday into Saturday. Saturday additional rainfall and strong storms are likely with wind gusts around 25 MPH. Temperatures are still forecast to be above average but will be closer to 70 degrees for the daytime high. Sunday the frontal systems will clear out bringing a brief end to the extended rainy pattern we were in. High temperatures Sunday will be 60-65 degrees. Monday will be 70-75 degrees and mostly sunny before rain chances are reintroduced into the forecast late in the day. Mixing heights Friday are forecast to be around 4,000 feet on Friday, 2,500 feet Saturday and 3,800 feet Sunday. The NOAA 6Z BC models forecast good PM2.5 levels Friday through Sunday with good to moderate Monday. Current thought processes include staying close to model guidance with good air quality Friday and Saturday due to the active weather pattern in addition to strong winds Friday and Saturday. Good PM2.5 levels likely on Sunday as well with mixing taking place and a mix of good to moderate Monday.
