Primary air pollutant in the Leo Cedarville area:
OZONE - 42 Good
Enjoy your outdoor activities.
Other Pollutants:
PM2.5 - 7 Good
Both ozone and PM2.5 have been in the good range over the past couple of days. Today will bring temperatures reaching near 70 degrees and cloud cover will increase, being overcast for most of the day. There will be a chance of rain throughout the day, lasting into the overnight hours. Severe weather will be possible during this time, with worsening conditions later in the day and including the possibility of tornados and heavy rainfall. Winds will be primarily from the south with wind speeds increasing to over 20 mph and with gusts over 30 mph. Mixing heights will rise above 2000 ft. Tomorrow will bring similar temperatures as skies stay mostly cloudy. Some scattered rain chances will linger as we enter Thursday but the concern for severe weather will have diminished. Winds will shift to be primarily from the west, reaching speeds near 15 mph with gusts over 20 mph, and mixing heights will rise to around 4000 ft. On Friday cloud cover will continue to decrease, with skies becoming mostly sunny. Temperatures will still be similar at this point, with highs near 70 degrees, and mixing heights will rise to around 5000 ft. Winds will still be primarily from the west as wind speeds fall to around 10 mph. The Canadian and NOAA 6Z BC models show almost all good values for PM2.5 and ozone over the next couple of days. This is consistent with recent observations. Given recent conditions and today's rain chances, moderate buildup of either pollutant will continue to be unlikely. Even after the rain moves through we will continue to see some relatively elevated wind speeds and temperatures will stay around 70 or lower, rendering moderate buildup of either pollutant unlikely through the end of the work week.
