Daily Air Quality Forecast for Tacna, Arizona

[View the ADEQ Hourly Forecast for Yuma]
Sunny skies and hotter than normal temperatures are expected throughout this period. Highs above 105°F are forecast by Sunday, possibly approaching 110°F on Monday. For perspective, we should be in the early 90s for early May--but not this weekend. Take necessary precautions to "beat the heat!"

As for the air quality, ozone will be the pollutant to watch, since it could reach the Moderate AQI category the next few days. However, winds out of the south should help to limit ozone levels, particularly by Sunday and Monday.

PM10 (dust) and PM2.5 (smoke) will remain mostly locally driven each day, with a slight potential for dust the next couple evenings/nights.

Check back again on Monday for the next Yuma Air Quality Forecast.
