High pressure continues to influence the region, which will bring sunny and very hot temperatures over the next few days. Persistent southerly winds each days should help to keep ozone levels relatively low. As for particulates, winds will be breezy at times but we don't expect winds to be strong enough for significant dust. However, a potential exception is Saturday morning, where there are indications of strong thunderstorm outflow winds reaching the Yuma area. For now though, we are keeping all pollutants in the Good AQI range through the forecast period.
