[View the ADEQ Hourly Forecast for Yuma]
The overnight winds have been stronger than anticipated the past couple days. Yesterdays early morning and late night PM10 concentrations were enough for PM10 to reach the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups AQI category. Today, there were elevated PM10 levels again this morning, which will easily result in Moderate AQI levels today. Tomorrow, there will again be chances for breezy winds, potentially causing PM10 to reach the low Moderate category. After tomorrow, lighter winds should return, allowing particulate levels to return to the Good AQI category. As for ozone, we are forecasting Moderate levels to continue through the forecast period, with some fluctuation based on how much influence from California is expected.
