[View the ADEQ Hourly Forecast for Nogales]
We continue to observe elevated particulate levels with highest concentrations during the morning and evening hours. Both PM10 and PM2.5 reached well into the Moderate AQI range yesterday.

Looking ahead, we don't expect a whole lot of change. We will continue to have generally calm weather conditions, which will allow particulate levels to remain elevated. Over the weekend, we are forecasting PM10 and PM2.5 to reach into the upper Moderate range with increased wood burning in the area. We are forecasting an improvement on Sunday compared to Saturday due to slightly better winds. Overall though, we are forecasting Moderate particulate levels to continue through the forecast period.
