An incoming storm system will bring increased winds and cooler temperatures this weekend.
We are not expecting any blowing dust events to occur at this time, with the main trends to watch being PM2.5 increasing as cooler temperatures seep into the region. Stronger morning inversions will allow particulate matter to build in the early morning hours before surface heating is strong enough to lift particulates off the ground.
For now, PM2.5 will remain in the low Moderates as it has for the past week. Changes in PM10 will depend on local activity, with levels dropping over the weekend.
Have a good weekend.
