Daily Air Quality Forecast for Red Rock, Arizona

[View the ADEQ Hourly Forecast for Rillito]
The main weather story this week will be the heat. The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for today through Friday, with daily highs at/around the 105°F mark.

Furthermore, the monsoon will slowly start to return. At least initially, moisture is not looking all that impressive. So, thunderstorms that are able to make it into Rillito won't produce a lot of rain. Instead, gusty winds from distant or nearby storms will likely be the main impact. As such, the winds could cause brief dust.

Elevated PM10 (dust) levels will also be possible from local activity.
