Afternoon and early evening thunderstorm activity over the higher terrain of east-central Arizona is expected to continue through Sunday (less so on Friday) with perhaps an uptrend over the weekend). This will lead to the potential for short lived spikes in PM10 readings primarily easterly winds. But, even if those occur, the 24 hour average is expected to remain in the Good category. A caveat is if strong winds come from the lower elevations of Pinal County (possibly over the weekend) in which case there is potential for larger spikes in the readings).
