Daily Air Quality Forecast for Why, Arizona

[View the ADEQ Hourly Forecast for West Pinal]
An unsettled weather pattern will be in place over the next several days with one system moving through Arizona and far northwest Mexico today and tonight and another affecting Arizona Monday and Tuesday (at least one other system after that). The end result will be large day to day fluctuations in cloud cover, opportunities for light rain (pretty spotty today), and breezy to windy conditions today and especially Monday.

The improved ventilation along with a little bit of rain (though not much) is expected to be beneficial for daily average Particulate levels - especially PM2.5. Of note, breezy conditions (most noticeably on Monday) could produce localized pockets of blowing dust but not enough to push the daily average PM10 values out of the Good range. Average Ozone is also expected to stay in the Good range due to time of year, more cloudiness at times, and better ventilation.
