Daily Air Quality Forecast for Tucson Mountains, Arizona

[View the ADEQ Hourly Forecast for Tucson]
High pressure will keep things dry with well above normal temperatures through the forecast period. Winds will primarily follow familiar diurnal downvalley and upvalley patterns except for easterly/southeasterly breeziness on Sunday. This may cause some minor localized pockets of blowing dust near construction sites and vacant lots. There will also be short lived periods of increased PM10 in the mornings and evenings (especially Friday into Sunday). But, daily average PM10 is expected to remain in the Good range. Average PM2.5 however is expected to be higher (highest today and Saturday) with the combination of vehicle and fireplace activity. Average Ozone will remain in the Good range due mainly to the time of year.
