Daily Air Quality Forecast for Summit, Arizona

[View the ADEQ Hourly Forecast for Tucson]
Ozone levels continued to be fairly elevated yesterday, while PM10 and PM2.5 levels easily stayed in the Good AQI range. Looking ahead, calm and sunny conditions will continue, which will likely allow ozone to stay in the mid-to-upper Moderate range through the weekend. We are forecasting slight improvement for the beginning of next week as a weak trough pushes up from the south. Unfortunately, it doesn't look strong enough to bring any significant changes.

As for particulates, we are still forecasting a slow upward trend as soil conditions continue to dry out. Overall though, PM10and PM2.5 are forecast to stay in the Good AQI range through the forecast period.
