High pressure continues to influence the region, which will bring hot and sunny conditions this week. There will be thunderstorm activity over eastern and southern Arizona over the coming days, which if strong enough could send outflows into the area. Right now there are indications of stronger outflows moving into the area late Thursday and late Friday or early Saturday morning. We have increased PM10 levels at those times, but there isn't a whole lot of confidence at this time. Ultimately, we are forecasting ozone and PM10 levels to continue hovering around the low Moderate AQI category, while PM2.5 is forecast to stay in the Good range.
