Daily Air Quality Forecast for Marana, Arizona

[View the ADEQ Hourly Forecast for Rillito]
PM10 (dust) levels have been super low this morning, thanks to the widespread rain around southeastern Arizona yesterday. The Tucson Marana Regional Airport logged in over a half inch of rainfall.

Today we'll be gearing up for round two. Another low-pressure wave will impact the state, but this time, out of the north. Rainfall will be less in amount and duration than yesterday, primarily focused ahead/along a cold front expected to pass through later this afternoon/evening. Additionally, today will be a much windier day, as winds increase ahead of the front. Fortunately, the recent rain will help to prevent dust from the stronger winds.

Overall, recent and upcoming rain will help to keep PM10 levels low.

Check back tomorrow for the next forecast.
