This morning, both PM10 (dust) and PM2.5 (smoke) are very low, thanks to last night's rain. The Nogales International Airport logged in over a half inch of rainfall. Moreover, areas south of the border also saw substantial rainfall amounts. This widespread rain will help to reduce, or even prevent, dust when strong thunderstorm winds pass through in the near future.
