Particulate observations held in the Good AQI category for Thursday.
Changes are coming, including a slight downward trend in temperatures through the weekend and into the upcoming workweek. Winds pick up by midday Friday which could activate localized particulates and dust, potentially raising PM values into the lower Moderate AQI range.
Clouds return late Friday and into the weekend. Gusty winds return Sunday afternoon, but should not be around for as long of a period as seen Friday night through Saturday. Isolated rain showers develop Sunday afternoon and overnight, which may kick up some additional localized dust. We could see another round of showers for late Monday, in addition to some gusty afternoon winds, which may elevate particulate values.
A similar setup is expected on Tuesday with gusty afternoon winds, but particulate values should hold in the Good AQI range.
