Over the past couple days, a large low-pressure circulation has loitered over the California/Nevada area. This is why it's been a tad bit cooler and breezy in the afternoons/evenings. Today will be the last day of this circulation's sojourn in the West. Then by tomorrow, it will head northeastward, passing through northern Arizona. And by Saturday, forecasts indicate the circulation's remnants will be over Wyoming. Higher pressure will take over for the weekend and beyond.
As for PM10 (dust), pockets of dust could be possible today and tomorrow from daytime breezes. We also can't rule out elevated PM10 levels from local activity in the mornings. Overall though, PM10 is forecast in the Good AQI category each day.
