High pressure is now over the region, which should bring nice temperatures through the week. We expect mostly sunny skies, light winds, and pleasant temperatures the next several days. As for the air quality, PM10will be locally driven, with highest concentrations during the morning hours. PM10 is forecast to improve a little over the weekend with less dust-generating work activities. On the other hand, PM2.5 will likely increase over the weekend with increased fireplace usage. Overall, PM10 and PM2.5 are forecast to mostly stay in the Moderate AQI category through the forecast period. As for ozone, it is too late in the year for any concerns. Therefore, ozone is forecast to stay in the Good category through the forecast period.
