An active weather period will be in store for southeastern Arizona this weekend and into early next week. A meandering low pressure circulation will result in breezy winds on multiple days, chaotic high temperatures throughout the period, and even rain chances on Monday.
Air quality-wise, PM10 (dust) and PM2.5 (smoke) will be elevated in the mornings or evenings if conditions are stagnant. Then in the afternoons, both pollutants will be low. Winds could result in pockets of dust for drier areas, though dust is not expected to be significant. Lastly, any rain on Monday would help to reduce dust.
Check back again on Monday morning for the next Nogales Air Quality Forecast.
