PM10 once again stayed in the Good AQI range yesterday, while PM2.5 reached the low Moderates. Today, a weather system is moving through the area, which has already begun to bring rain showers to the area. After today, we are forecasting a few days of mostly sunny skies and warming temperatures before another weather system moves in early next week, which will bring chances for more rain.
As for the air quality, the showers will help lower both PM10 and PM2.5 into the Good AQI range today. For Saturday and Sunday, we do expect PM2.5 to reach back into the low Moderates. Then, pollution levels are forecast to return to the Good range on Monday and Tuesday with the next weather system moving through.
