Following a chilly morning, AQI readings are in the upper Code Green range on Monday. Pleasant weather is on tap through midweek as high pressure drifts offshore and extends westward into our area. Forecast trajectories indicate that at least some maritime influence will remain on the air mass through midweek and this should help prevent significant deterioration. Particle pollution concentrations are not expected to stray far from the Code Green/Yellow threshold and ozone readings should remain in check in the upper Code Green range.
