Friday and Saturday, partly sunny skies and highs near 80F will support ozone development in the Columbus region. Sunday, a ridge of high pressure aloft will limit atmospheric mixing over central Ohio. In addition, calm to light southerly winds will hinder dispersion, while partly to mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures aid ozone production. Therefore, AQI levels will increase to low-Moderate. Monday, clouds and rain will limit ozone development as a surface low-pressure system traverses the state. Furthermore, moderate westerly winds will aid dispersion, leading to Good AQI levels.
