Daily Air Quality Forecast for Walhalla, North Dakota

For Friday afternoon, strong sun through a thin veil of clouds along with warmer air has caused ozone to reach Orange (USG) in the Twin Cities metro northwest to Fargo and Brainard. Ozone has also reached Yellow (Moderate) in most other parts of the state. Particulate has also reached the Yellow threshold along and south of I-94. Ozone levels are forecast to remain at alert criteria in the Twin Cities metro northwest to Fargo/Brainard until after sunset. Over the weekend varying amounts of high and mid level clouds will spread over the state, with some scattered showers and thunderstorms possible in the southwestern and westwern MN. There should be enough cloud cover to keep ozone at Yellow, but if cloud cover is less than forecast ozone has the potential to reach Orange both Saturday and Sunday.
