Primary air pollutant in the St. Martin area:
PM2.5 - 34 Good
Enjoy your outdoor activities.
Air quality is expected to be in the Green (good) AQI category statewide today (Wednesday). An increase in both temperature and fine particle pollution will accompany southerly winds Thursday, with the low-end Yellow (moderate) AQI category most likely across much of eastern Minnesota, minus the far northeast. Light to moderate snow with generally minor accumulations will accompany this system as well. Fortunately, elevated levels of air pollution will be short-lived, as a cold front moves through Thursday evening, bringing cleaner air from the north and west. An active pattern should limit air pollution through the weekend as well, with near normal temperatures, and then below normal readings to start the new work week.
