Wednesday, as the front stalls over the Bayou State, winds will weaken, reducing pollutant dispersion. However, rain showers and scattered thunderstorms will continue to reduce ozone production and enhance mixing. Furthermore, regional pollutant carryover from previous days will be low. These conditions will lead to high-Good AQI levels in most cities.
