Daily Air Quality Forecast for Davenport, California

May 7 – May 11: High-pressure building over the region should warm up inland locations as we enter the weekend. Inland heating and resulting ascension of air looks to generate a robust marine layer that while present will keep things cool at the coast. High pressure should remain for the duration of the forecast period with the warmest day being Monday where south Monterey County could potentially reach temperatures in the 100s. Temperatures will range from the low-50s to the mid-70s at the coast and low-50s to high-90s inland. Despite the warmup, ozone levels should remain below State standards, therefore ozone AQIs will remain GOOD. As conditions stabilize there could be an increase in PM2.5 (smoke) AQIs; however, decent windspeeds at the coast should be able to mitigate any accumulated particulates. Additionally, stable conditions inland may elevate PM10 AQIs in King City to MODERATE; however, fairly recent moisture should be able to limit that.
