Primary air pollutant in the Lexington Hills area:
PM2.5 - 85 Moderate
If you are unusually sensitive to particle pollution, consider reducing your activity level or shorten the amount of time you are active outdoors.
December 2 - December 5: The current high-pressure system will persist, bringing above-average temperatures and dry conditions this week. Calm winds and cool nights mean coastal fog in the mornings. Coastal temperatures this week will range from the upper 40’s to 70 degrees, and inland temperatures will range from low 40’s to low 70’s. Cool temperatures will keep afternoon ozone levels below State standards and thus air quality for ozone will be GOOD. Calm conditions, cold nights and woodsmoke will push AQI’s for PM2.5 (smoke) as high as UNHEALTHY FOR SENSITIVE GROUPS in our valleys for brief periods in the wee hours, especially the SLV, but otherwise GOOD. Calm winds mean AQIs for PM10 (dust) will be GOOD.
